Christy of The Mad Cows gives Felix Baumgartner a friendly wave as he hurtles past on his way back to Earth.
What do you think of that crazy guy Felix Baumgartner freefalling from the edge of space? It wouldn’t be me. I like to keep my feet firmly on the ground. If cows were meant to fly we’d have been born with wings (maybe I’ll have to start drinking Red Bull?). But try telling Christy that cows can’t fly! He’s always looking for new stunts….and would you believe it, the very day that Felix Baumgartner broke the record for the highest freefall by a human, Christy was doing the same for the bovine community. He gave Felix a friendly wave on the way past. Who knows, maybe the two of them will meet up soon to shoot the breeze and swap a few high-flying tales. Christy’s preparation for the stunt wasn’t quite as detailed as Baumgartner’s. Christy had to make do with the support of two bulls, one bullock and three heifers. Imagine what he’d be capable of if he had the backing of Red Bull! By the way, in case you’re worried, Christy used his bandana as a mini parachute to slow his descent to the speed of sound before landing safely on a conveniently placed haystack (as all good cartoon characters do).
